Pyramid Pieces

Silver salt crystal pendants and rings.

All the pieces feature pyramid shaped salt crystals which have been cast in sterling silver. 

Paper Pyramids: Experiment No.2

Disintegrating with age, each fold of the chalky surface gave way.  Yellow, orange, and white.  Paper pollen on fingertips.

Salt Pyramids: Experiment No.1

I've been busy experimenting with casting some tiny salt crystals which form in these amazing shapes. They look like tiny models of the crumbling Pyramids and when clustered together create a really interesting surface, almost like clusters of bizarre barnacles.

These little guys are now heading off to be cast in silver.  Hopefully they will turn out and I can start getting some designs out of the sketch book.
