RESIDENTS - August Exhibition

Our latest show down at Such and Such opened last night, thanks to everyone who made it along.  The exhibition runs until the 11th of September.

"Each of Charlotte’s works are pieces of a larger narrative exploring the way in which we use our surroundings, especially those of a domestic, personal nature, to store the objects and memories that are precious to us. Often using found fragments and patterns as a starting point she alters and rebuilds them to highlight our own fragility."

"RESIDENTS" opens on the 12th August, celebrating the end of our first year in Such and Such by showing the work of the four artists who run the space.

A Wee Reminder - 8 Tales of Textiles

Hello just a wee reminder that tonight is the preview for 8 Tales of Textiles, an exhibition of work from Heriot Watt fashion and textiles MA students.  From the pictures I've seen it's going to be a really exciting show!  Hope to see you there...7-9pm

MalMaison Fair

Well it was an early start getting everything ready for today but I managed to get everything down to the shore for the market with the help of fellow Such and Sucher's Caroline and Dave.

We were so lucky with the weather and there was a great selection of stalls selling tasty local produce alongside some jewellery and prints.

Leith Late

On Thurs 16th there is another great opportunity to come down and see Anomal.  Such and Such will be taking part in LeithLate.  Check out the link HERE for all the information or you can go to facebook event page HERE.

Change around

Ok so you may have noticed that things are looking a wee bit different on the blog...just felt the need for a wee tidy, much happier with the clean look.

It's been pouring down all day here which is a shame as today is the gala day for the leith festival, hopefully it won't put too many of you off, (at least the trees are prepared for the weather!)

Last night down at the studio we had the opening for "Anomal" a new exhibiton by recent Duncan of Jordanstone Illustration graduates Al White and Jamie Johnson.  Thanks to everyone who made it along for a look.  Also very impressed with those who have ventured out this morning to catch the show.  It runs until the 19th so if you get the chance it's well worth a visit.

October Treats

New goods exhibition has had a great response but we're getting ready to open the October show!

"Curios will see a new collection of jewellery and artwork from the Such and Such members alongside a few invited artists.

Such and Such Opens!

Well after weeks of barely any sleep and 
many evenings spent painting things white, Such and Such opens it's doors to the world with a collection of new jewellery, prints and projections.
